Looking for a new rack for the back of the van and I see they have updated this model. Does anyone have the latest version that can give me some advice. The older version used to come with the stronger rails with the sliding wedges. What Fiamma calls the "Rail Premium". The latest version comes with the cheaper/flimsier "Rail Quick" without wedges but you can buy the Premiums to upgrade it. Now, I have had my bike on both those sort of rails and the cheaper ones are awful, I wouldn't risk carrying my bike very far on them. The Premiums are fine but I see they have changed the design of the wedge. The old style would take a 2.5DHF quite securely but I am bit worried the new style won't. My reason being that they now look like a copy of the Thule Van XT rack or vice versa and I have tried my bike in one of those and the wedge is too narrow to securely take a 2.5DHF. Anyone have any experience with this?
