Does anyone own or ridden one of Treks full suspension 69er's? On the Trek website it doesn't look like they are available for 2009, so maybe they didn't sell as well as expected.

Has anyone seen a discounted 2008 model in their LBS recently?

Cheers, Dave

Excellent bike, we sold a load and customers loved them.

2009 model was planned but then the standard Top Fuel has been delayed this year (Still no UK models)so no Top Fuel 69er
The last plan i heard was for a 2010 version with the ABP, Full floater etc ๐Ÿ˜€

We've got a 19.5" left instore btw.

Phil,

Any comments about its climbing ability? I've seen a few reviews on the internet commenting that the height of the front end makes it hard work...

Also, is there any way of getting round Treks rule about not posting bikes? I understand why they do it, but it can make things difficult.

Cheers

Dave

No problems with climbing, I ride the 69er SS and find it better climbing than my Hi-Fi
I've flipped the stem over and dropped all but 1 spacer out from under it. As with most 29ers keeping the stem lower does help. I find the position really comfy.

As with sending no can do i'm afraid, where abouts are you based?

Phil
