So, they come with two bands, one for standard bars and one oversized.

Now, I can't believe the answer can possibly be 'yes', but has anyone removed the watch/computer from one so they can put it in the other?

The only real solution I've come up with so far is to get a hammer and smash the ruddy thing to pieces, and then glue it back together. However, this is not without its flaws.

Naturally, the helpful instruction sheet that comes with the computer has a diagram showing someone picking it off with gay abandon, suggesting much the same level of difficulty and frustration as picking a raspberry off a pavlova. This is, of course, somewhat divorced of reality.

Any tips? I have some duck fat and a sink plunger if you think they'll help.

The answer is yes, but they are a proper bastid!
I found a small, flat bladed terminal screwdriver to be ideal. You know, the sort you use on plugs / joining blocks etc.

Squeeze the ends of the band together so a slight gap is created around the watch / computer, then prise out with the driver.

The band has a hole in the back so you can push out the clock with a thin screwdriver.

A small allan key in the hole at the back will push it out.
Thats said if you cant figure out perhaps best to take it to a shop and get them to do it ๐Ÿ˜†

Well I did wonder if that was what the hole was for but figured if they'd thought that one through they might have actually put it on the instructions instead of suggesting I casually lift it off, and leaving me to wonder if prodding the rubbery hole any harder would poke the guts of of the clever electronicky bits, like forcing a scaffolding pole up C3PO's bottom. I'll get poking then. Muchos gracias.

I didn't realise that the other band was for OS bars. I just thought it was a pointless spare part.

yay!
