So....both are the sme price and similar spec.
Trek has better brakes - XT v formulas in the canyon
Canyon has better wheels DT Swiss XR1501 v own make Bontrager on the trek.
Interested in what the STW massive thinks.....?
I've got a Superfly (it started as a 9.8, but I changed everything bar the frame and fork), and it's excellent

I've got a superfly 9.8 from a few years ago and love it. Very fast, feels like cheating. The only downside is that the BB is Treks own bearings press fitted into the frame and they are not designed to cope with UK conditions.
Go for the Trek. I got a 9.6 and then upgraded some parts.
In respect to the wheels, the Bontrager ones are perfectly fine in fact I'd say they're better than the DT Swiss ones.
