Just checking a few bikes ramdomly in Evans today and spotted the Trek Rosco 9 2018. This seems a lot of well speced bike for £1250. Any owners that can give the low down ? Only downside I could spot was the 28T chain ring, and a frame on the slightly heavier side.
28 chainring is not something I would see as a negative . Low end Shimano brakes would warrant upgrading and possibly the fork isn't top drawer with steel rather than alloy stanchions . From the link you have provided there is no frame weight given but an all in bike weight of around 14 kg is par for the course for this type of bike .
Well, it looks a bit pricey to me - £1200 for a hardtail with a Recon fork.
