I think I am in love - just had a look at and "car park" test of a Remedy 8.

Anyone got one? Any thoughts...

The spec isn't stunning for the money, I had a look at a Cube Fritzz too, which was much higher spec and cheaper (2009 model rather than the Trek which is 2010 spec) as a result of the bombing pound ๐Ÿ™ I just liked the frame on the Trek better, even if it was a bit too small for me!

Probably going to try and resist through winter and then replace the 575 in Spring, depleting the new motorcycle fund in the process... but a new shiny bike may inspire me to ride more (or at all... ahem...)

My mate has an '09 one and it's a great bike. He's had a lot of trouble with the Lyrics though.

The 2010 seems to have a bit of a repositioning - it has Fox 32 forks rather than the Lyrik.

Hmmm, have to see if that frame issue has been sorted though (at least if I do wait until Spring any problems can be highlighted!)

Heard of folk having problems with the frame ovalising around the main pivot too.

No drop your forks out, take a look up the headtube ull see straight away if yours has cracked there about 25mm long on both sides.
Yep they will replace it on warranty as long as you haven't "large frontal impact" .....
