Hi guys,
I am looking for a mtb in order to get back into riding after a 'little' pause of 15 years. Bikes have changed a lot since then and I am a bit lost.
I am trying to decide between this two:

http://www.evanscycles.com/products/...30271#features

Looking at the specs they seem pretty similar (the trek is actually £650 after a price match). What do you think?
And also size wise, I have been looking at the size charts and the geometry of the two bikes and am considering the large on the scott and between the 18.5' and 19.5' on the trek. I am 6' tall and 33.5' inseam. Any ideas on this too?

Cheers!!!

I am reading the specs on both and I am inclined to go for the Scott. I have also seen the Scale 50 (2012).
Same price in both Scotts though the 2012 is reduced from its original price. Could you give me a hand with the specs in both?

What are the differences between these forks?

Rock Shox XC32 TK Solo Air, Alloy Steerer / Coil Spring, remote Lockout / reb. Adj. / 100 mm

Rockshox Recon Gold TK Solo Air, Alloy steerer, Air spring, remote lockout, Rebound adjustable, 100mm travel

Cheers!
