We are stopping at trawsfynydd holiday village in a few weeks for a trip to coed y brenin but the interwebs suggest the pub that was next to the site has burnt down?!?
Can anyone recommend any where local to the site? Think it’s fairly remote from what I remember so might have to see if a taxi is an option.
Open to suggestions! Thanks in advance

When I visited last year a fish and chip van came on Friday evening. Driving down to Dolgellau was the best bet for food other than cooking yourself on site.

yep, pub burnt down about a year ago, there was talk of rebuilding but i don't think that has happened. as above, dolg is your best bet as very little else in the area

For pub grub, in the other direction there's The Grapes Hotel at Maentwrog. It was 3 years ago but I remember the portions were massive.

Cycle up the private road to Stwlan Dam for an awesome view, ~10 miles north and call into Maentwrog on the way back. 😉
