Recommend me a trailer bike for my 3-year-old son.

Thanks.

Most of the seatpost mounted ones look awful - the rack mounted ones such as the islabike one are the way to go (but you obviously need rack mounts)

What age of child are the tag-alongs designed for? My son is 3.5 not sure if he is too young to go one? I see the Islabike one is marketed at 4+.

thread on this last week i think will look in a mo'
my oldest around 4,1/2 because wouldn't keep hands on handlebars - feet below head level etc - they need to be able to "behave"
younger started at 3,1/2 ok
a mirror is handy

have a seatpost mounted one - i guess the rack mounted ones are more stable
have switched to keeping a spare stem and saddle attached as is quicker than fitting into the clamp and means no big bit of metal on seatpost when i don't need it

the one we have is an adams is heavy but does fold in half which makes transport in boot easier
think it was in gthe other thread - make sure the little un' doesn't fall asleep - i wan't the only one to report this heart attack scenario

Yeah, if money's no object, Islabikes is great! Mine was £35 from Ebay (its the same as they sell in Argos). Very heavy, but this means very robust.
Shop around for an aluminium one (Trek?) as most are heavy lumps of steel.
