At the end of the month I have a week off and on one or two days I plan to hit some trail centres. From where I am (Surrey, inside M25), where can I get to to keep me occupied for a day, still get home at night? I was thinking Cwmcarn possibly?

With an early start you can do a day raid on Afan, which would be my pick. A litlte more choice than Cwm Carn. The Glyncorrwg centre has two great trails out of it (Whites and July( Shortcut of Skyline)) which make a really niec day of riding. Also, the café is great!
