Hopefully heading upto Northumberland with Familey for a short break, are there any disused railway / traffic free cylce routes up there that are trailer friendly ?
Cheers.
Where abouts are you going to be based it's a pretty big county.
There's lots of lovely stuff over the Cheviots out of Wooler if that's where you're off to
If they aren't firing, the Otterburn ranges will be pretty much free of traffic:

There are some family oriented routes at Kielder.
You can cycle away from traffic along some of the Tyne. Also out by the coast in SE Northumberland.
thanks for info. Were on the coast near Alnwick.
Near me then.
Sadly sustrains haven't made a great job around here but there is a nice cycle path from Alnmouth down to Warkworth which is worth doing.
Thanks Drac, hows the weather up there ๐
Been great last couple of days showers in the evening but turned rubbish tonight and may be set for a few days.
cheers ๐
