A few years ago a mate of mine, who is on good terms with somebody who's been though the BC program, mentioned that it wasn't uncommon for some of the female athletes to have a bit of extra trimmed off to make their time in the saddle a little more comfortable. Which i though must be a load of old cobblers, but having read something similar in BBC article on GB's recent success it seems that there might actually be some truth in it.
