I'm thinking about building a touring bike for a bit of summer fun. Not for any hardcore touring, just a week or so here and there around Europe. What benefits would 29 inch wheels offer on a touring bike?
I've got my eye on the Surly Ogre frameset, but since I've got some spare 26 inch wheels in my shed I was wondering whether it was worth it.
I don't know how much difference it makes, but I'm 6'3".

26 wheel spares are available worldwide, 700c tends to be confined to Europe and North America, if that helps.
