That ridethedivide uk website is nicely put together. Great to see some Brits who really look like they know what they're doing

Keep an eye on Mike Hall who won the 24-hour solo at this year's Strathpuffer and would have been second at last year's SITS if he hadn't decided to chase down the leader in the last three laps and blown himself to bits in the process.

There's a bit about his kit set-up here - some good lightweight backpacking stuff.

Anyway, top lad, gutsy rider, be interesting to see how he gets on.

Looks like Aidan Harding has had a bit of bad luck - has cracked his frame so trying to sort out a new one. He was up to 4th in the southbound race too at one point. Think he was riding a pegasus too.

Cracking race so far, not surprised that Jefe Branham couldn't keep that pace up on a singlespeed.

Oh, and christ those on ones are ugly!

Aye, real shame that. Fingers crossed he'll get sorted quickly and back out again ... yea, you're right he's riding a Pegasus.

I think it was kinda fortunate that Aidan was past Steamboat, so he could back track on the route. Don't know what his options would have been otherwise. Still, great news that he's back up and riding.

Also, for every Cordillera Volume 2 sold from now until the day that Justin Simoni reaches Antelope Wells (or quits) a mystery donor will make an equal donation to Linnaea Blumenthal's college fund. He's matching the full $15 purchase price for each book sold.

Go get your copy now!

Bought the book too. Always interested in that kind of book. Damned interesting route to race... Riding it is one thing but racing it. Wow.

Kevin Cunniffe (Blackhound) finished last night in 29 days-ish so mucho respecto to him.

He emailed half way through the tour and sounded close to quitting as he was so knackered but thankfully he continued. Once the pain has subsided and he's recovered, I bet he'll be glad he did!

Well done Kev!
