you might find that is most of it, you don't tend to get much footage of the decents as none of the cameras can keep up safely.

Youtube at some point, but as has already be stated, quite often the camera bikes struggle to keep up.

I was able to watch it live (ITV4 red button) truly awesome descending –hitting 100 kph + through the team cars – absolutely amazing handling skill – ended up having an other puncture at the bottom of the hill

the camera man came close to gettin beheaded by the overhangs too. Stunning bit of riding with drop of death on one side.

Commentary on Eurosport today said he didn't puncture a second time. He stopped to change his wheel because the replacement from the previous change didn't match the yellow colour scheme he had on the rest of the bike.

Spartacus has style.

WOW, that's incredible! I missed that during the actual stage, thanks for the youtube link. 🙂
Amazing bit of road bike handling - anyone who says roadies can't ride/have no skills etc needs to watch that!

If some mountain biker had been crossing the road on one of those blind corners, there could have been carnage!

Shots showing the speed of the peloton from the air were great too.

How far back was Cancelara at the top of the descent?

Why are downhills on the road called descents and descents off road are called downhills?

That's awesome. The section from 4 minutes onwards to the tunnel is mental.

It's when you see him catch the peleton you appreciate how much faster he was going.

have to admit, that's some of the most inspired descending i've ever seen.
to ride one handed at that speed while eating energy bars is truly awesome!
i tip my hat to the man

Look at the support cars passing him where they can despite the incredible speed he is doing. I'm assuming they hire brits to do the driving and they can't stand having a cyclist in front of them.
