I've seen a 2nd hand bargain on a set of Magura TS8R forks in 120mm flavour. Any users out there?

Press reviews for the 150mm version seem very good. I guess the 120mm version is the same just shorter travel?

But I can't find any long term reviews on this? Are they reliable, easy to fix at home? How easy is it to get hold spares etc ..

thanks in advance ...

Iv got a ts8 150 lift select and it's brilliant, works well in either 150 or 120mm travel settings on my bfe, mainly leave it at 120mm, to me or feels much stiffer that the revelation it replaced, the duel arch design is a bit of a mud trap but mine has been completely fault less for a year now

On a tangent, anyone know what the fork rake on a TS8 29er is? Website gives lots of other info (eg. AC) but not this.

anyone else with experience with Magura forks?

I knew they weren't the most popular brand but thought but thought I'd get more replies.

Happy with my TS8's (150mm). Good damping and good stiffness for a 32mm stanchion. I generally run a lot less air than recommended to get the right feel.

The grease service can be done at home, the damper service has to be done at a dealer. There is a you tube service for the grease service from Magura.

My Thors are (slightly) older but have worked well.

Magura are obviously small players compared to Fox/Rock Shox etc. but not to be overlooked completely.
Could just be my impression, but their presence seems less than it was over the last couple of years.
