I'm planning to do the Classic Torrindon loop - Now the question is: does that loop go where the Santa Cruz video for the 5010 was shot? if not , where should I go? The bit at the beginning of the video rather than the end.

Do the lollipop route, better than the classic loop in my humble opinion.

At the start of the vid he is riding up the Coire Lair descent which the classic loop and the lollipop include. After he crosses the burn up to the panoramic shots in the snow he is on the path to the Bealach Mor between Sgorr Ruadh and Fuar Tholl. This can only be done as an out and back from Coire Lair. It is worth doing but none of the descent you see in the vid is on it, it is all the standard descent of Coire Lair.
