I've heard Fort William is meant to be quite good.

Was talking to some guys from Manchester way at the weekend, they had come over to Northumberland/C.Durham for 2 days of DH. Saturday was at Alwinton (amazing, super steep and challenging track) and Sunday was Hamsterley (many tracks to choose from and quite good fun). Sounded like they enjoyed Saturday at least and im sure had a good time at Hamsterly, rode there a few weeks ago and there are tons of tracks and they seem to be doing a good job keeping them in decent shape.

There's basically an infinate amount of tracks at innerleithen. Quite a few are a bit samey and the uplift's not fast (nor does it go to the top) but it's still a superb venue.

Inners is great. I have a 5-6" coil sprung bike with a triple chainset and so can ride it to the top, perfect.
Keep meaning to try Ae but never been

depends where you're based - i rode alwinton for the first time on saturday and loved it. great track and a reasonably cheap uplift (£20 all day) - recommend if you're north east/scottish borders based

In no particular order I like:

Inners - classic, innit.
Dunkeld
Fort William (too obvious?)
Hamsterley has good variety though I prefer individual tracks else where
Caersws

err that seems to be my 5.
