On the scout for ready made toolboxes, so please no suggestions of building your own;

so out of these:
Park EK-1
Pedros Master 3.0
or
Topeak Prepstation

what would you get? is there anything else I should be looking at?

also out of:
Park AK-38
or
Birzman tool kit

what would be better?

any experience of any/all of them?

Thanks in advance.

I have Used EK-1 and own Pedros master 3.
And I glad I got Pedros, just seam to be a better lay out, has room for more tools and I think comes with more tools to start with, does EK-1 haver cable cutters?
If you moving around fixing I would get Park EK-1 or Pedros as they easy to carry and open out on a bench well and you don't have to go looking digging to much to find the tool you need.

I do have Park tools as well and are good tools.
I would get a tool kit that has room for other tools as well.

It depends on the prices (which I can't be bothered to find), but I'd probably go for the Pedros as it has more tools and a less 'gimmicky' looking box, which (in my experience) means it's less likely to break. I have a mix of tools and the pedros stuff seems just as good as the Park (in my limited opinion), but is cheaper.

I would get a tool kit that has room for other tools as well.

+1 as whichever you go for there will be additional specialist tools you'll want/need in the future.

does EK-1 haver cable cutters?

There are some shown in the picture (above tape measure / chain splitter).

Park EK-1 SRP - £549.99
Pedros Master SRP - £899.99

So it's hardly surprising the master has a fair few more tools.

A closer Park equivalent to the master would be the Park PK-65, which drops the box but has a wider range of the more serious tools (headset press, crown race setter etc).

All three are great options really, depends on budget and whether you'll be using a stationary workshop or lugging them around as to which will suit your needs better.
