Never ridden one but I considered one about 3 years ago. Lovely looking frames (stif were selling them) and seem to get decent rider reviews on MTBR

I hear that you will be able to ride just like Tomac when riding one of his frames!!
Guy I know has a Supermatic 120 and loves it.

I was riding up in Cortez, Colorado, where he lives, a few years ago and ran into him and another guy riding a trail called Sand Canyon. I thought I could hold my own, but I quickly figured out what separated me from riders in that class.

Got an Automatic 120 of CRC a few weeks ago, would have been more disappointed if my frame size was being discounted, but it OOS.

As the Snyper is very similar to the Automatic, thoughts on it should be the same,

Good - very well packaged, headset included & installed, BB faced, built up and rides nice so far.

Bad - paintwork is good but not great, too many bottle cage mounts, but that's an American thing, takes a tapered fork, which, without a reducer can limit choice.

Supermatic or Snyper, do you want 120mm or 140mm travel, pick the one you want.

I had an Automatic 120, and it was great. It was built up to quite a budget spec, but it handled great, really chuckable and felt much lighter than it actually was.
Unfortunately the rear triangle broke - apparenly this wasn't unusual (according to somebody in-the-know), and the rear brace has since been beefed-up.
