Damn, can't see the pix but you descibed a pretty regular training route, or part of. Nice part of the world!

Sting's place is in the wonderfully named Wilsford Cum Lake, isn't it? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sneaky half at the Weatsheaf on your way past? (Not been there in an age, wonder what it's like now!)

Ah yes, went past that one and called in on a mate for tea.

Loads of decent looking pubs in that area.

wheatsheaf does very good food, go there from time to time. Just re-opened after refurb, not been there since.

Ride looks good Dave, look forward to meeting up with the DRR for another great route soon!

Right then gpx [url=

Not quite all the route I intended as we did some cheeky stuff and the file includes part of the drive home.

Start point was Salisbury Racecourse.

------------------------------------------------

Anna, did you know about a new bike club for Salisbury?

Yes, thanks Dave. They're plugging it in the LBS, but I work on their MTB weekday ride eve, and they don't do w/e at the mo. Will have to hook up with the DRR for a bit longer ๐Ÿ˜‰
