I still can't decide whether it is better to break a bike or try to sell it whole. This is what I've got, seat post and pedals aside. I think the problem is that it is a big frame (20 ins) and there can't be that many tall riders wanting a built up Scandal but, there may be others who want to buy bits where frame size just isn't an issue. But then, I'd hate to be left with just the frame.
Have I just answered my own question? Having said that, do you generally get more by selling parts - given the extra hassle of posting etc?
I have posted it (whole) in the classifieds but haven't even had a sniff. If breaking is the best option then that's a job for the weekend.

How much for the frame?
It isn't quite a year old and has hardly been ridden (bad back) so how about £200 posted?
Just spotted the price of the new ones. £150.00 posted. Tis isn't a slot dropout frame. I paid the thick end of £270 new.
I'd break it, I've had a lot of good experience in the classifieds with some persistence 🙂
