There is a stickies facility it turns out (see the PSA: PSAs thread).
Many other forum sites will have one or a few sticky threads linking off to other threads covering FAQs and guides. Cuts down forum noise, but noise is traffic is ad revenue.

I'm hoping for lashings of black ice, drizzled over with a bit of snow. But i fear because of the climate change effect,all I'll receive is a sloppy mess.
