Feeling cream crackered now. Training is wearing thin and I've got just one more race to go ( well two actually, but I don't need to do the last one)
So 2011s training started Boxing Day, rode **** loads, spent weeks indoors doing intervals when the sun was shining? and that's it now.
The cunning training consisting of four weekly hour long interval sessions (as well as road training) I reckon gave me less that ten seconds per race. So for 2012 I'm shoving the Turbos where the sun don't shine.
I reckon one boring hour long crit per week will do me more good than four/five hours a week on the turbos.
Looking forward to a club ride and seeing my non racing roadie mates.
Someone summed it up on another one of my posts, something like 'you have to train harder to be not so crap at our age'
