Some toe-rag nicked my Orange 5 earlier this year. I’ve delayed replacing it as I get few opportunities to ride - but my son has taken a big interest in MBR so it’s time to make a decision so I can go riding with him.
I’ve pretty much decided on a Trek Fuel EX8 XT, and will probably upgrade the brakes to XT and a add a better set of tires. Before I take the plunge is there anything else I should be looking at for the same budget (£2,800), that offers the same all round use and similar geometry?
