looking at getting some tiagra hubs built onto open pro rims for the biek for winter, all the blurb online says they will take 8 and 9 speed cassettes,
will they take 10 spd as well, i thought the width of the cassette was the same just the spacings alittle narrower on the cogs

i thought the width of the cassette was the same
10spd shimano cassettes are 1mm narrower than 9spd ones so you need to run a 1mm spacer behind the cassette.

Yes they will. A 10 speed cassette is actually 1mm smaller than a 9 so you will need to use a spacer but they usually come with the cassette.
