Anyone bought one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Only-Ti-UltraLight-Titanium-Seatpost-30-9-172g-All-Sz-/270569655206?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3eff354ba6

or similar, you get a warranty and they say they are made from quality ti, so ticks all the boxes

Just wondering what they are like

212g for 400mm, not exactly super light but a very good price, no layback option, shame.

Yeah, I've got one. It's ok so far. Waited three weeks for delivery and still nothing so I contacted the guy again and had a moan and he sent one out special delivery and it turned up the next day. It looks a weak and spinally clamp but I'm 15st and have used for a while and it hasn't budged. You can sand blast it too to match the satin TI frames. Word of warning though. If it does give way, it's going to core me. The top of the post with the clamp removed looks like it's designed for disembowelment. Will probably buy another one at that price though. Bargaintastic.

A guy at work has lynskey post 27.2 410mm and that came on our scales at 201g and these guys claim their 27.2 400mm is 202g

So doesn't look bad, think i'll give it a go

212g for a 400mm post still puts it lighter than a Thomson.

Personally wouldn't trust one, but it's not my scrotum!
