I've not got any anti slip blue whatever it's called - Ok to just grease or would it be better to buy something for the job ?

The blue stuff is loctite to stop them coming undone - grease would kinda defeat that purpose.

For the sake a couple of quid it would definitely be worth getting the proper spec Loctite, especially since your using ti bolts which will not enjoy being over torqued.

Get the pritt stick loctite, 248, it's way more convenient than the liquid. Slightly more expensive but it goes a loooong way so per-use the difference is basically zero.
TBH though I don't really bother.
