Threadlock always. They're unlikely to gall/sieze at 4Nm.

Cheers. Didn't know it was the torque that caused the problem. Thought it was down to disimilar metals and a bit of mucky water.

High torque causes the galling. It's usually a BB thing, so lots of anti sieze there.
Threadlock coats the surfaces so that if corrosion is going to happen, it'll happen elsewhere.

Cheers. The rotor bolts come with thread lock on them so that's kind of obvious but I was wondering why they don't put it on the adaptor bolts or caliper bolts.

TBH, that's just blue paint that half does the job.. wind the bolt in and out, and see how much is left on.
Proper drippy threadlock is what you need, especially on the calliper bolts!

If you use thread lock go for medium strength 242 or 243 blue.
Also low strength 221 or 222 pink ish.

I've got some 222 so I'll clean the existing stuff off and give it the good news with that then. Thanks again.
