Just ordered one of these - seems ok and the instructions are nearly in English ๐Ÿ˜ณ I've figured out how to turn on and record etc but not how to set the time. There is something in there about copying a .txt file onto the SD card and setting the time in there, but each time I do this then connect the camera to the PC, the .txt file disappears and the in camera time goes to 01/01/2008 @ 11:00.

Any one recently done this and could shed some light??

You need a file called tag.txt with the dateTime in. you copy this to the root folder on your microSD card.
When you insert the card and turn cam on it reads the file and deletes the .txt file.
If its like my old one, you end up not bothering because you have to do this everytime you use it!. i also have one that remembers the date, so yours hopefully will be like that one...

File has to be in the correct format, should be one on the cd that comes with the cam?

Dont bother with the date it has to be done each time you swith the thing on.

Styles, here are some vids done on one,

its the bulet type camera, works well for the price just make sure its fully charged before use

Ah, that explains it then...! I was copying the tag.txt file over, which was being read and then disappearing and each time I used it the clock was being re-set... Will give up. Thanks all...

It does work if you change the date/time in the file each time.

Yep it remembers the date and time for the day you set it. Then low and behold it's the 01/01/2008 again. Groundhog day!

pop a calendar in the field of view? Perhaps hold up a copy of today's newspaper?
