so last year I got my Subzero, its built up as a heavyweight ie: 31lbs and hard as nails LTHT, so I've got another grand to play with, I've also got a tax rebate that them folks at the tax office said is due to me (months ago!!), so what's the thoughts, I've toyed with the idea of going for a pimp new frame or just spending the money on a light weight second wheelset and forks for XC dutys?

any suggestions? what would you spend a grand on?

Depends what your scheme will let you get away with. It's supposed to be a whole bike you're buying.

What about a bike for riding to work on? Full mudguards, chainguard, basket on the front, sit-up-and-beg position. Way cool.
