So is there anywhere in the SE that isn't currently a bog? I fancy actually using my mountain bike, but I guess my usual haunts of Pitch/Holmbury Hill and Swinley are a mess.

Not around here they aren't: They are bumpier than many bridleways.

Hmmmm, unfortunately it is 95 miles from me. Might make the effort anyway.

Have yet to ride Surrey Hills or Swinley this year base on tales of swamp-like conditions. Instead have ridden a lot round my local patch of Puttenham Common, as well as Hindhead, and St Martha's. Had hoped to ride Surrey Hills this weekend but given the rain, will likely be doing Puttenham or Hindhead instead.
