Front and back pads changed in under 10 mins with none of the following happening:
1. Shouting
2. Swearing
3. Throwing down of tools
4. Grazed knuckles
5. Scratched pads
6. Divorce
Never happened before!
A mate who has them actually preferred to ride with no rear brake whilst on a ride, rather than have to faff with changing them once.
Read the instructions!
Changed while on a ride or at home? easy enough to do in the bike stand at home...
I don't ever want to attempt it while out riding though...
I gave up trying to change mine! Rain, cold, wind...it wasn't cool!
have changed on the trail and in less than 10 mins it is pretty easy IMHO
use a tyre lever with the old pads still in situ to retract pads and pull them out with pliers....or your teeth if you are proper hard and replace.
Read the instructions!
...and then bin them!
'Make a brake pad sandwich, blah, blah, blah' Yeah right.
In the current trail conditions you'll be having another go at changing them in about a weeks time then!
I did it once and wondered what all the fuss was about. Then the next time I had to do it...
