Not once but twice this morning I have had to stop to remove dog chod from my bike. First time - tyres, front mech, and suspension linkage took the hit. Second time (and with the consistency of a chicken bhuna) front tyre again, front hub, spokes, down tube, BB, fork crown and brace.

Absolutely bloody awfull to remove and as it's been so dry there is a distinct lack of puddles to help with a quick rinse.

๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก

This has to be my worst crap experience ever.

Didn't you see it when you were about to ride over it? Get mudguards?

No. If only life was that simple ๐Ÿ˜€

The second lot was just as I rode over a fallen wall. Concentrating on the obstacle rather than chod factor. Knew I'd hit it as I smelt it straight away.

I feel for ya,

Dog egg has to be the most annoying thing ever. I'd love to get the owner/walker and smear their face in it and watch them wince as their nostrils quiver at the stench of it. Its disgusting.

Anyone who lets their dog leave an egg and not pick it up is a ****.

Could be worse, some of the most offensive smelling droppings i've ever experienced got stuck on my tyre and forks the other day.

I tried to flick it off with a stick but some how got it on my glove in the process- which i didn't notice until i wiped my face with it later.
Luckily i think i didn't touch the actual poo on my face but close up, the odour was overpowering, i was dryheaving all over the place.

I totally agree....reminds me of the worst ever first ride on an Intense 5.5.......was at dusk so didnt see the poo but heard it splat....it went everywhere! Yuk! It completly altered up what I felt about the bike.....must have been an omen as I didnt get on with it at all....too steep a head angle and horrible trap door rear sus...anyway I sold the frame 3 weeks later....I digress.....dog poo is the one thing that gets me mad....and the palstic bags of it hanging in trees.....straight to the jet wash only remedy....for the owners I mean!

Hedgehog or fox droppings smell much worse...which is why my spaniel loves to roll in them...
