Just a PSA for anyone in the vicinity of East Lancs tomorrow. It's the annual Rake hillclimb. The weather looks perfect, so it'll be great conditions for the record to possibly go. It's a ludicrous 2 mins 14 seconds. It very nearly went last year and it was wet.
It's a great event so if you're in the area come and cheer on the masochists. Some seriously fast blokes and ladies riding at stupid speeds up and absolutely horribly steep hill

My mate is riding this, if it had been later in the day we'd have head over with cowbells to bring the noise.
I'll probably walk up to watch a bit of the race.
I'm working otherwise I'd have been there with my Shimano clangy bell and manic barking dog
