Anyone got any more info on this 100mile route, thinking of doing it with the boy this summer, is there a map available yet?

From the article on cyclepad:

Itโ€™s almost certain some mountain bikers will try to do the whole route in a day but very few will manage especially if they ride the optional harder sections.
its almost as if they want people to attempt it in one day... ๐Ÿ˜•

That looks interesting (without looking at detailed map). How easy would it be getting back from the finish to the start by train?

we ve planned this once its officially opened.

Train from newcastle - berwick - You need to book bikes on this train.

we re doing it in a day.

Train from hexham back to newcastle. - You cant book bikes on this train, but you can generally get upto 4 bikes on.

any questions, drop me an email and I'll send them on. Address in my profile.
