Did a search and found nowt!
OK not his first race @ Tri but very impressive in a good field, hopefully give Triathlon more media coverage it deserves.

He was a pretty handy triathlete as a kid IIRC.

Still an impressive result in a big race. Just lost out on the run too.

leopard...spots. He's still not being particularly polite to his fellow competitors by the sound of things so why should anything else change?

Only 2nd? Drugs can't be as good nowadays.

Armstrong was run down by Docherty (3hr 50min 13sec) in the final leg of the race

Armstrong may be a cocky, arrogant S.O.B but that seems slightly unsporting...

...on the other hand, a win's a win ๐Ÿ˜›

If you read the reports it appears that Armstrong wheelsucked for the entire bike leg. Old habits die hard I guess.

drugs cheating aside, it's good to see an ex-pro compete after retirement, though it must seem a bit harsh to his competition.

from a slightly different perspective, well done to him!

he never failed a drugs test, but hey guilty until proven innocent or guilty forever by being rather good at what you do therefore you must be a doper.*

lance has done rather well in a few ultra marathon mtb events as well.

*not a lance fan but it does seem a little unfair

I seem to remember Mark Renshaw doing a mixed tri (one runner, one rider..etc) and mentioning how he overtook about 700 people in the ride ๐Ÿ˜†
