Timed Special Stages, lots of up with some help with uplift (to enable more to be done not to make it easier) and ripping trails with plenty of down but not PURE DH.

Final round of the Superenduro Cup in Torgon (Portes De Soleil), Switzerland.

One of the hardest days on a bike I've had. 1600m vert, 3800m down at a vomit inducing pace.

Best race and probably best day on a bike.

Looks great Rob. Hows your gravity dropper holding out, did you ever get side-side play in yours?

Hey, would you happen to know of any other similar events being held in southern France this year? ;o)

So the future of mountain biking, is summer in the alps.
Bit of a pisser for all the other seasons, and lift free areas of the planet ๐Ÿ™‚

This one just happened to have 1 lift (350m vert). Just enabled 1 more special stage IMO. No need for it. Forget that it had a lift. Its the concept of the special stage race.

Can be done anywhere with hills.

Loads of them in the south of france. http://www.1001sentiers.fr/1001endurotour/index.html

Gravity Dropper fell apart a month ago. Not bad for 3 years though.
