Ordered on 21/09/09 just gone to shipped today. Two full weeks to shipping. Not good, but you order from DX and you have to be prepared for it.

IF they fail- are they easy to open up and solder etc? Qualified person of course). If they are a copy of another 'well known' brand can you send them off to a known repair place here in the UK for repair? Just thinking (about ordering but also what if's) ๐Ÿ™‚

Ordered mine on the 27 September and they left Hong Kong today for the UK, hopefully wont be to long a wait. A few guys I know who live in Glasgow have all had there lights within within 2 weeks of purchase. Seems to be random or they favour certain postcodes.

think i'm gonna have to order one of these for the bars cos the switch on one of my fenix l2d torches pretty much burst the other day...
will my fully functional fenix light still be usable as a helmet mounted spot along with a DX as a flood on the bars or will it just not have any point?

thats what i currently use, its always useful to have a helmet light. dual fenix helmet light is good but the weight starts to become more noticeable.
ideally a dx helmet light on the lid would supplement the bars perfectly.

Status changed - Shipped via Tracked Air Mail

Now it'll be lost in the Royal mail postal strike. why do they decide to strike in the run up to Christmas every year? Sack the lot and go back to pigeons.

Seems to be totally random as to when they send them out.

Mine ordered on the 21st Sept, not sent, noticed others ordered on the 24th have been sent.

This better be worth it!!!!

Mine just arrived today and its better quality than I expected. Ordered on the 27 September, that's not too bad on delivery considering its from Hong Kong and customs etc. Anyone know what the best adapter is to use and when is it fully charged. Also, can the battery be over charged?

Just got mine too - is the battery charged when the light is green?

yep green means charged.

Get a 45p adapter from asda or tesco and away you go

When on the bike the rear button will go from green to red when running down.

Same'ish with the charger, red charging fully, redygreen almost there and green done

Waited 2.5 weeks(highlands) for my mte ssc p7 two stage light.Yee-ha,it really blows the night apart.I,m running 2 cr123 batts inside, while I wait another 2.5 weeks for my 18650's,but so far it seems like a pretty impressive package.

I had the same problem as some others- got a paypal receipt but no DealExtreme order confirmation... I sent DealExtreme the paypal receipt as advised via website, but I've not had any response and that was 5 days ago... Anyone else experienced this?

Hi Susie

Yes. You need to set up an acount with DX (assuming you have not). Then you get to see the status of the order.

I did not do this initially and was getting no info back. I set up the account and could then see the order online in my account and a day later got shipping confirmation

Thank you Taz.

I have set up an account but my order doesn't appear in there...

However, via the DX Customer Services Express webpage 'Request status/history' I have found my help ticket (by entering my paypal receipt no and email address). It says: 'Status - Request has been received - waiting for processing.'

Not sure if that means the help ticket has been recieved and is waiting for processing, or whether this refers to my actual order!!
