Just caught up. Best piece of episodic art ever.
Wife reckons the group are indistinguishable from riding friends of mine. What do you think?

Me and riding buddy have taken to calling each other Andy and Lance.

However, his name was already Andy. So I'm Lance. Which is pretty accurate tbh.

Thinking of getting a gazebo.

I wish I could go to the pub as much as they do

I always want to shout what you got when riding alongside a field with detectorists detecting in it. But never have.

I agree with her. Any special interest group follows these patterns - we should just accept it and get on 8)

Spot on, watched series 3 this afternoon, my immediate thought was this is just like every mtb group I've ever known!

No bad thing btw enjoyed the show.

The average detectorist is probably slightly cooler than the typical mountainbike.

Jockey wheel . Shimano STX . 1994

I think the sports grown a bit over the past 15 years, the club I ride with now is far more 'normal' now that cyclings become a bit more of a passtime and less of a sport.

Some of the groups I've ridden with in the past were very much mountainbikerists!
