Just a quick note to thank the users who take the time to report spam threads for us. Reporting a thread informs all of the moderators and it can be swiftly acted on. Normally we can go from 'Reported thread' to 'user banned forever' in about four minutes. If a thread's still there, the it means that we've either not seen it, or no one's reported it. Trust us, we're not keen on spam either.

We have pretty good anti-spam safeguards, but we're no longer fighting spambots as they tend to have real computer people behind them.

Anyway, thanks for that ๐Ÿ™‚

How many reports do you get? I have reported a few but I did wonder if you were getting 3000 reports in 0.3 seconds

We have some moderators who appear to not sleep either, so feel free to report stuff at any time of day...
