Anyone got one they can tell me about? How does it ride with 36s? I'm interested in an all-day frame that's slack and low for riding basically anything and everything. Needs to be comfier than my current aluminium frame. Stanton Slackline is also on my list, so comparisons from anyone who's ridden both would be helpful, as would comparisons with Orange's last version of the SubZero. Ta v much.

i have a mk1 blue pig and it's ace, done all dayers on it no problem. Can't compare to the slackline i'm afraid but they are nice.

I have a blue pig mk2. I have just come back from 4 hour ride in the peak district with no aches or pains!

I got one for exactly the same reason, I wanted an all dayer/winter/ hacking around in the woods type of slack hardtail. Im very pleased with it.

Fit a dropper and its perfect for downhilling biased xc rides, or all dayers into the mountains.

I don't know if it's of any relevance but my old Kona Explosive had a Platinum OX steel frame and it was REALLY harsh.

In comparison, Surly 1x1 CroMo Steel, very comfy and Alu Kinesis Maxlight bouncy and very comfy.

The BPx are Platinum OX aren't they?

Thanks Jambon, interesting. Might have to check on that. I ride a SubZero right now and it's superb, but on really long, rocky rides I'd just prefer a little more flex/comfort. If I'm not going to notice a difference, I'll stick with the Orange - it's a very fine frame in all other respects.
