need to be suitable for XC/trail riding on a rigid swift with a rider who weighs 95kg naked!
suggestions would be great ..just want something half decent/reliable but without the Hope style freewheel racket . always wondered why basic XT disc hubs with stans/mavic rims aren't more commonly available ready built as surely they'd be popular?
thanks
Bill

I think you've pretty much answered your own question. I've used the same set of A319 on Deores for years and years without the slightest problem.

Bit of a click but far, FAR less than Hopes (I have both). I have 3 sets of wheels from them and all ok so far http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=40&products_id=496

slx hubs + mavic tn719 rims + build = £220ish

strongish, lightish, serviceable, quiet.

You know where it says about the adaptors, do i just choose what i want to run with?

I.E. i have 9mm QR front and back, so do i just set it to that, or do they come qr as standard and you choose an adapter that you may have future use for?

Or am i being thick?

I'm running Fulcrum Red Power XL tubeless (Stans kit) - fast, strong and quiet (in fact near silent freehub). Wiggle have the 29er wheelset for £230:

QR front and back with an HH15 converter in the box for the front. Would have them again in a heartbeat. Job's a good 'un 😀

I've got the Superstar wheels as well. You need to pick your axle adaptors and they'll come fitted. Happy with them so far.

95kg then Flows I would say. The weights on there are for the 26" ones. The 29" Flows are 55g heavier each so factor in a bit more for spokes as well and so perhaps 2040g ish and yes just select your adapter, can buy others later on if you change forks or frame
