Incredible ride from GB's 18 year old Lauren Dolan in the worlds junior TT. Big crash, broken bike so had to change to a road bike, covered in cuts that needed surgery to close, managed to still finish 27th. Chapeau!

Nails
Saw the pics earlier and thought = ouch, that's really going to hurt.
Chapeau indeed!
Rock solid, finish the ride. Respect, hard earned.

She's nails! Is she related to the Dolan bike shop/company? I would assume so, but can't see anything obvious saying that she is.
Nope she's from the west country
Newton Abbott, I now see.
That explains a lot! ๐
Mark Dolan her dad was 1991 national junior road racing champion or something like that
I saw the title to this thread and knew instantly who you were talking about.
Amazing what adrenaline can do..
Whats that CFH wants to bag footballers that have been training and working towards their dream for their entire lives giving up a hell of a lot along the way....
on a plus for recent times at least she wasn't taken out by a team car or camera bike.
The pic of the injury when she's still on her bike looks awful!
No wonder she was 2 hours in surgery!
Wont post because you might be having your breakfast.

Eeesh that will smart a bit in the shower.
Ouch. That's going to smart a wee bit.
Admire her for finishing, but cant help thinking retirement would of been the more sensible option.
