That Quintana crash could have been a career ender. Very lucky (if the results of crashing can be lucky)
Agreed, was really nasty. Amusing he blamed brake failure though, clearly wasn't really paying attention on the run in to the corner, then it all went horribly wrong from there.
This is why Froome keeps his head down 🙂

can you imagine the reaction of more feisty riders if spectators threw sticks at them? Someone like Hinault would have been torn between finishing the stage and getting off to teach some respect.
That stick incident wasn't an actual malicious attack just a fan hitting the floor with a stick which snapped.
