it's always good to hear from Millar, he gives different viewpoints to commentators and other riders interviewed, he seems to be more honest than others...

Just having a look at that footage of Contador getting "pushed" off.. Be interesting to see if anything comes from that.

Just worked out on the highlights (19:06:30) that the left hander where Hoogeland nearly lost it hand had to hang is inside foot out, was the corner that the peloton crashed on.

Just watched the highlights. Do we know if the bell-end in the car will be allowed to drive in the tour again?

Hoogeland - what an incredible guy. How he could be so forgiving when that tv car crew could have ruined his tour is just humbling. Proper proper respect.

Prudhomme will have him shot.

rd, i am assuming you are referring to his past. Remember he cheated but he was never caught and owned up served his ban and has come back with a very anti attitude.

It is very easy sitting where we do to say we wouldn't do it, the reality i think you will find is very different.

That stage was really unpleasant to watch, the injuries and carnage was awful. Broken collar bone, broken femur, broken pelvis, broken shoulder blade (man that must hurt) and the the t**t in the car, WTF!

The schadenfreude on here around Vinos accident is really poor form. The guy will not race again this season, perhaps ever and some people seem happy. That's just s**t. No matter what the history is, no rider deserves that sort of injury.

somehow admitting you are a cheat means you are not a cheat?

*mind boggles*

rd, he is a cheat but he has done his time and moved on. There are many others who have been caught and never accepted it.

I was seriously impressed by the way that the hoogerland reacted to being knocked off. He was very calm about it saying that there was no blame to be put on anyone as they wouldnt have done it on purpose and that accidents happen. I'm not sure I'd be able to take that view.

I couldn't believe how calm he was about it either. I wanted to punch the driver for him ๐Ÿ™‚

The way this tour is going, do you think we could sell them some body armour?

I don't remember this number of crashes and smashes in past years.

It's carnage over there, too many vehicles on the road with the riders. I hope to god it doesn't happen but some poor rider's going to get killed at this rate.

Fingers crossed we have seen the worst of the crashes.
