To be fair to TV he's not lost any more time on AC/AS, it's just that Sanchez and Evans have accelerated. Still within the feasible gap to catch on the down.

LOL at CFH!

I want Evans to win, he's really losing his wheelsucker tag for me now, plus I like it when ugly people win. Gives hope to people like me... ๐Ÿ˜†

Sammy's tucked descending is scary to watch, very twitchy movements. No doubt it's fast though.

what he did yesterday was incredible, but he still managed to make it look like he was a nodder doing his commute through Milton Keynes

Anyone saying this now is a seasonal armchair critic. Time to watch races other than Le Tour.

World Champs 2009? Fleche 2010? His Giro stage win 2010? Master of the attack, the wheelsucking was due to not being able to attack, not choosing to.

Imagine you were in the same position. Just because you can't attack, is it fair that people say you choose not to?

Jens Voigt can't fit his suitcase of courage in the overhead compartment.

And just so we're clear, a wheelsucker is someone who does little work in the hope of gains later. It's what all the angry armwaving in breakaways is about.

All you have to do is ride to the top of the Galibier.

Yes, sorry - for me he lost it when he won the world championship, but I think after the last couple of days I don't think anyone could level it at him. That's what I was trying to say.

All you have to do is ride to the top of the Galibier.

Or get someone to drive you up. You can then race them back to Bourg D'oisans ๐Ÿ™‚

Surely Tommy's team can pull some of this back now it's on straighter roads? Hoping the front group will also sit up a bit when Cadel's group catches them.

I love the architecture of the roads, just how much effort went into designing and planning and building them. Amazing.

No, not normally. You can't see much in the ones with the slats on the side either.

Shame Bert hasn't been able to pull more out of Andy, but I guess he'll try again on the Alp..

Good stuff this.

Apparently Cav is up with Voeckler, so no worries about time cut offs as of yet.
