The tunnels also seriously confused my satnav. Last year my Garmin thought I was going in a different direction when I got out of the tunnel and the gorge area and when it finally worked out where I was the indicated speed went up to 1358mph! Mach 2 in an elderly Toyota Carina was quite exciting!

On current form, yes (doubtless AS is a better TTer than he's been, but Cadel appears to be in superb form for him).
