Tinsy, is your day dependent on when the tour finishes?

Yup, I wont get a chance for highlights, home is busy, work is Tour dependant.

Unless your looking to employ me, at which point, the balance alters.

Hope Contador falls off and takes out Sagan.
That'll mean that Chris Froome won't lose any time and Cav will win the stage! Can't stand Contador - cheating bastard.

Froome may well have a bad day today. ๐Ÿ™

I'm kinda hoping that Contador has a puncture with 5k to go and we get a Cav - Sagan 1 - 2.

Maybe I'm misremembering but was it in 2011 when in the mountains Contador kicked and attacked after Schleck had a mechanical? I hope i'm right because it would be awkward to dislike a man based on a lie.

Dodgy steak is the usual reason to dislike him.

Contador was almost 4m behind wasn't he? Sky must be allowing him to get a minute away, saving themselves for tomorrow.

Great racing. You've got to love the way Contador races - history or no. He's even classier now he has had to tone back the doping - last years Vuelta was a brilliant race, and this could just maybe turn out the same.

Did this all start because of Valverde's puncture?

Doesn't look like sky are saving themselves - only stannard and g left...

He was 3'25" down so he'll finish about 2'20 ish down

Sky aren't allowing anything but they're ****ed, they've lost most of their riders having tried to pull it back, it's only G (injured) and Ian Stannard (knackered) left with Froome.

About the only good thing is that he can't lose too much more time cos it's only 3km to go.

Wonder with me if you will, what happens if Froome doesn't win?

Did this all start because of Valverde's puncture?

Nope. OPQS saw kittel weakening and went for it. The puncture helped get other teams on board though i think? The gap was at a minute when he puntured

shame for Valverde though. I like his style.

The big loser today is Valverde, he's way off podium now.

OPQS saw their chance to distance Kittel and went for it, Saxo Tinkoff saw their move and went with it.

Yeah, Contador is now at 2'45".
Not too bad.

Can't believe Sky got caught napping on a crosswind stage like that. ๐Ÿ™„

Clever riding from Saxo.

Very clever because Contador has Roman Kreuziger at 4th place as well which is a good double barrelled attack weapon against Sky.

Another clever move from Contador, reminiscent of his sneaky 'flat' stage attack in the Vuelta that caught Purito napping.

must say I don't think sky ever really recovered from Saturday - I was laughed at when I called it a silly move.

Wow. What a stage.

A quite brilliant ride by Saxo Tinkoff. I have to admit I had written off Contador after the first mountains stages, but that has blown things wide open.

Great to see Cav winning again too. Did really well to get in that break and there was only ever going to be one winner at the end.

That was a bonkers stage. Well done to Saxo Tinkoff. And excellent effort from Cav. Unfortunate for Valverde though - wrong place and wrong time.
