I've got a longish travel full susser (ventana x5) and a dirt jump hardtail (NS .. somethingorother), and fancy amalgamating the two and the stanton slackline seems to fit the bill, unless anyone else can tempt me otherwise?
ride in the surrey hills and swinley etc and have to keep the space down so can only keep one!

I can transfer the kit off the other two bikes, one has a fox 36 and the other a totem, bit lost really!

cheers all, pictures welcome!

Slackline looks awesome, there's also the NS Surge, Charge Blender or the Cotic BFe which you may want to consider. I've had a Trailstar, BFe and I'm now on my second Blender so take from that what you will 😛 BFe was ok for bombing straight down stuff but felt too heavy and dead/unresponsive for other stuff - longer chainstays maybe? The Blender is so much fun on anything I've ridden it on, from skateparks to djs to trail centres to DH! Admittedly it doesnt go up hill as well due to the short tt and slack seat angle, but it's not really too bad and the fun factor far outweighs that!

I was contemplating a Slackline instead of my Blender but brought a Five for trail ridding & have rebuilt/rebuilding the Blender as a 4X/play bike. When I contacted Dan (Stanton) he told me he had a Ti Blender, he loved it but felt the slack seat angle compromised climbing, the Slackline has apparently been built to be as fun as the Blender but with the ability to pedel better & work with a wider range of travel (upto 160).

I'd buy one in an instant, if I didn't have a Blender & a Five.

Very nearly bought one, lovely looking bikes, especially the ones in the raw or translucent finish where you can see the heat marks from the welding.
I've seen a few people racing DH on them too so they're pretty capable with the right build (and rider).
The ti slackline would be my pick if you want the ultimate versatility, although the Switchback will be out soon so may be worth waiting for that.

I haven't a clue about jumping but the Slackline is lovely- really well made and finished, good balance of gnar and allrounder.

I've just built this up....

To replace a BFe. I've not ridden it in anger yet as it was literally finished an hour or so ago but have bombed up and down the road a bit on it and it feels a lighter, more spritely bike than the BFe. It suits longer forks better too if that's your thing. I think the drop outs are nicer too and the replaceable hanger is nice.

Looking forward to getting out on it this week hopefully.

Cheers Andy. Been after a pair for ages and some popped up on eBay for not too much. They feel really nice too.

Not the cheapest out there but nice geo figures, the Sherpa 29er deserves a mention, whether or not it's the OP cup a tea
